Meat Curry

Just Add

500g Meat
3 Tomatoes (200g)


1. Wash 500g meat in a bowl and marinate with 1 pack of Nimkish Meat Curry Spice Mix, 4 tbsp oil and 3 (200g) crushed tomatoes.
2. Put the mixture in a heavy bottom pan and sauté on low heat until water dries and oil separates.
3. Add 1 ¼ cup (400ml) of water to the pan and stir to mix well. Bring to a simmer and cover the pan.
4. Keep checking on the meat as it cooks and add more water if the water dries up. Stir often to prevent burning. When the meat is cooked and the sauce has thickened, garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.

Note: If cooking in a pressure cooker, follow step 1 & 2 given above. Then add 1 ¼ cup (400ml) of water to the pressure cooker, close the lid and cook on high heat. After first whistle cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Turn off the stove and let the steam release from the cooker. Serve hot with rice or roti.
